Travel Diary - Trier, Alemanha e Luxemburgo 2014

Hoje, mostro vos o último dia da minha viagem…

Neste dia, saímos de Frankfurt e fomos em direção até à cidade mais antiga de Frankfurt, Trier. Chegamos lá por volta das 10h da manhã e aproveitamos a manhã para conhecê-la. Os principais pontos de Trier que visitamos foi: Porta Nigra (o ponto mais importante e emblemático da cidade); Karl Marx House – casa do conhecido filósofo; Kaiserthermen – termas romanas; Konstantinbasilika  - maior igreja romana; Leibfrauenkirche – maior igreja gótica e por último o que visitamos foi a Trier S. Peter’s Cathedral – que se trata de uma catedral que é a mais antiga da Alemanha.

Almoçamos ainda, por Trier e após o almoço partimos em direção a Luxemburgo. Chegados a Luxemburgo, lá fomos nós conhecer esta cidade onde tantos portugueses vivem… Os principais pontos que visitamos foram: Praça da Constituição; Petrusse Casemates; Praça Clairefontaine; Catedral Notre Dame; Chemin de la Corniche; Bock Casemates; Igreja de São Miguel; Palácio Grand Ducal; Praça Guillaume II e Praça D’ Armes.

No fim do dia, partimos de Luxemburgo em direção ao aeroporto na Alemanha para o regresso a Portugal.

Today I show you the last day of my trip ...

On this day , we left Frankfurt and headed towards to the oldest city of Frankfurt, Trier . We got there around 10 am and took the morning to meet her . The main points of Trier we visited was : Porta Nigra ( the most important and emblematic point of the city) ; Karl Marx House - known philosopher 's house ; Kaiserthermen - Roman baths ; Konstantinbasilika - largest Roman church ; Leibfrauenkirche - largest Gothic church and finally we visited was the Trier St. Peter 's Cathedral - it is a cathedral that is the oldest in Germany.

We had lunch yet, by Trier and after lunch we headed to Luxembourg . Arrived in Luxembourg , we went to know this city where so many Portuguese living ... The main points we visited were: Constitution Square ; Petrusse Casemates ; Clairefontaine Square ; Notre Dame ; Chemin de la Corniche ; Bock Casemates ; Church of San Miguel ; Grand Ducal Palace ; Guillaume II Square and Square D ' Armes .

In the evening , we left Luxembourg towards the airport in Germany to return to Portugal .
